ABOUT

Ammerrry Salisbury

Ammerry Salisbury is a Thai classical dance artist and cultural practitioner based in the United Kingdom.

She began her training in Thai classical dance at the age of 13 and has since developed extensive experience in traditional Thai performance, including classical dance, folk dance, and ceremonial presentations. Her work is rooted in the elegance, discipline, and expressive storytelling of Thai cultural heritage.

In addition to dance, Ammerry has a background in traditional Thai music and has represented university-level ensembles in performance settings. These experiences have shaped her strong sense of rhythm, movement, and stage presence.

Alongside her artistic career, she has completed formal training in discipline and leadership through the Thai Territorial Defence programme, holding the rank of Acting Sub-Lieutenant (Female).

She holds:
• a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts (Photography)
• a Master’s degree in Communication Arts
• a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

She is currently furthering her artistic development through Acting training at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

Performance & Experience
 

Ammerry has performed extensively in Thailand and internationally, including:

  • Royal celebration performance honouring His Majesty the King of Thailand

  • Thailand University Music Festival (31st)

  • Thai cultural performances across the United Kingdom, including festivals, councils, and community events

Her performance experience has contributed to a deep understanding of movement quality, musicality, emotional expression, and audience connection.

Artistic Practice & Development

Ammerry actively engages in ongoing artistic development and international exchange.

She recently participated in the South West Dance Summit 2026 in Bournemouth, an event bringing together artists and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines. The experience explored mindful movement, creative expression, and new approaches to performance practice.

Through her work, Ammerry aims to share the beauty, refinement, and cultural depth of Thai performing arts with international audiences.

Her practice combines traditional technique with a contemporary awareness of wellbeing, connection, and accessibility, creating performances and workshops that are both meaningful and engaging.
