Location: Royal Thai Embassy, London

Attended a specialist workshop on traditional Thai miniature craftsmanship as part of London Craft Week 2026 at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. The experience provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with highly respected Thai master craftspeople and explore traditional Thai woodworking practices through hands-on learning. The workshop was led by Natchakon Buchshup, specialist in traditional Thai architectural miniature models, and Chatree Nuengchamnong, master craftsman of Thai and Chinese miniature ship models, including work created in honour of His Majesty King Rama X.The session included practical work on traditional miniature crafts and offered meaningful cultural exchange, artistic learning, and deeper appreciation of Thai craftsmanship and heritage. This experience contributed to my ongoing professional development through cultural engagement, traditional arts practice, and continued learning within Thai artistic communities in the UK.
